At Indi Golf, we believe golfers deserve equipment designed for the way they actually play the game.
For decades, wedge design remained largely unchanged. Traditional shapes, traditional weighting, and traditional thinking dominated the category while the rest of the golf bag evolved. Iron lofts became stronger. Distance increased. The shots golfers faced changed. Yet most wedges continued to follow the same design philosophy that had existed for generations. We saw an opportunity to challenge that approach.
From the beginning, Indi Golf focused on one simple question: How can we help golfers hit better shots more often?
That question led us to rethink what a wedge could be. We developed products that emphasized confidence, forgiveness, consistency, and playability—features designed to help golfers perform, not simply admire tradition. While many manufacturers continued building wedges around tour-player preferences, we focused on the needs of everyday golfers who wanted to score better and enjoy the game more.
Today, the wedge category looks very different than it did when we started. Across the industry, manufacturers are embracing larger profiles, more forgiving designs, expanded hitting areas, and performance-focused technologies. The market has evolved toward many of the same principles that inspired our earliest products.
We view that as validation of a simple belief: golfers play their best when their equipment works with them, not against them. But innovation is not a destination. It's a commitment.
As the game continues to evolve, so will we. Our mission remains the same as the day we started: challenge conventional thinking, create products that help golfers perform with confidence, and continue finding new ways to improve the short game.
